Ship Data List

All civil and naval vessels of all ages

As soon as I copied the data from my books, I will include the listing here.

By now I have a word file of about 500 pages.

The launch of this part of my webpage is scheduled for 2006.

Meanwhile some links to other ship databases:

Do you know other references ?

I will include links to other data bases, so if you know some, let me know.

This data base is under construction, so if you find gaps in it, please let me know what you know.

The ships will be listed alphabetically. Members of classes or types are in most cases listed under that class. "Letter"-classes, like the British destroyer classes are mostly not listed together, but under each ship´s name. Numbers - also number classes (p.e. 600-tonnes-class)

How to write these symbols in html?

If you don´t find a ship, try her sister´s names or former/later names.
